Nicholas Institute for Energy, Environment & Sustainability at Duke University | July 2022–present
- Primary editorial authority for the institute, producing dozens of scholarly research documents across environmental policy disciplines each year. Rewrote and maintained internal style guidance.
- Owned the holistic publications process as developmental, layout, and production editor from first draft through final product.
- Established cohesive content and voice among disparate authoring groups across the institute and university.
- Developed all internal editorial processes from scratch. Created and socialized submission requirements, review timelines, and process improvements, speeding production and increasing output.
- Increased number of internally produced publications per year from 21 in 2022 to 31 in 2025. There are already 12 publications in production for 2026.
- Exceeded publications downloads more than any other year to date (15,000+). Rethinking Load Growth, a blockbuster report published in February 2025, leads with more than 900 downloads.
- Contributed to other institute marketing efforts, including annual reports, board memos, photography, social media, and timely news writeups.

Managed project flow from submission to production and follow-up marketing campaigns.
- Coordinated and liaised with multiple authoring groups and technical committees. Provided ongoing support for author teams following publication.
- Identified and removed plagiarism using iThenticate software. Ensured all media were properly cleared of copyright restrictions.

- Reported on a diverse demographic area in DeKalb, including Dunwoody, Doraville, Chamblee, Clarkston, and Pine Lake, Georgia. All cities are suburbs of Atlanta, one of the biggest metropolitan areas in the United States.
